I am a licensed speech-language pathologist who has had 28+ years of work experience in the area of speech-language pathology. Prior to that, I received my undergraduate degree in Audiology and
Speech Therapy in Bombay, India in 1991. I have worked in various capacities including as a therapist, rehabilitation manager, clinical specialist, and clinical fellow supervisor but have always remained close to patient care. Over the years, I have been responsible for providing speech and language therapy to individuals with a wide range of communication disorders. I am also multi-lingual (fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati). Over the last 25 years, I have focused my energies on specializing in pediatrics with a wide variety of communication disorders. I am constantly
updating my skills with professional education, incorporating a variety of
evidenced-based interventions (e.g. PROMPT®, DTTC, Kaufman Early
Intervention Program: Children with Apraxia of Speech, Earobics®,
PECS™, etc.).
