Marilyn Ann (Stenberg) Swanson, age 85 of Walnut Grove, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Prairie Home Hospice McLaughlin House in Marshall. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove with a livestream available on the church’s YouTube page. Visitation will take place 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 5 at Walnut Grove Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Walnut Grove. Memorials are preferred to Prairie Home Hospice McLaughlin House or Shetek Lutheran Ministries. Patti Schoen, age 68 of the Lower Sioux Community, journeyed to the spirit world on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in the comfort of her home following a long battle with kidney disease, which she handled with courage and resilience. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Cansayapi Recreation Center Gym in the Lower Sioux Community. An all-night wake will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29 at the Cansayapi Recreation Center and will continue until the time of service on Monday. Burial will be in St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Cemetery in the Lower Sioux Community. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
