I’m Katelyn Rau, the heart and hands behind THRYVE Massage & Wellness. I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself-
After 11 beautiful years in South Dakota (where I also ran my own massage practice), my family and I made the leap to Wisconsin—and we’re loving this next chapter. My husband grew up in South Central WI, and I’m originally from the U.P.- so for the two of us-we’re finally back “home.” I’ve been practicing massage for nearly 4 years and feel incredibly grateful to do what I love every day.
While I’m trained to help ease pain and tension throughout the body, my specialty is in neck and shoulder work—where so many of us hold stress, tension, and emotional weight. My therapeutic massage sessions are custom-tailored, blending techniques like neuromuscular therapy, myofascial work, lymphatic support, and trigger point therapy to meet each client’s unique needs.
At THRYVE, I’m passionate about meeting people where they’re at in their wellness journey, helping them to reconnect with their body, and empowering them with the tools to heal. I challenge the belief that pain is something we just have to live with—because you deserve to feel better.
When I’m outside of the studio, I’m a mom to two wonderful kiddos, a lover of music (it’s always playing somewhere nearby 🎶), and happiest when I’m soaking up time outdoors.
