We are a small town hospital practicing big town medicine and surgery. Hospital expansion and major renovation was completed July 2019. ADOPTED! 🎅 🧑‍🎄 🎄 😻

🎄Acorn (calico) & PJ (black & white) are looking for a home for the holidays, but also for forever.❤️💚 They are bonded siblings (2yr old females), so they would need to go to a home together. They are adoptable through Rescue Our Furry Friends, but reside at BVAH!

Acorn is very sweet and also has a spicy side (as most calicos do 😹). Her big purrsonality will surely keep you entertained! If you have treats, Acorn will be the first one there! She does well around dogs, but takes a little while to warm up to other cats. 🧡🖤🤍

PJ loves to snuggle under blankets and take naps in her cat tower. PJ is on the shy side, so it takes a little while for her to come around, but once she does, she is the purrfect lap cat! She would do well in a home with other cats, children, & senior dogs. 🖤🤍

Both kitties are spayed and up to date on vaccines.
If interested, they can be visited any time we are open! 😻

****The attached photo is a kitten that needs help TODAY, but rescue needs a foster!**** Update: this specific kitten has someone to care for hkm/her! But we still need fosters lined up in order to save more lives! 💕🐾

A Message from Dr. Potorti.

Our family started Big Valley Animal Hospital out of our home over 31 years ago. It has grown tremendously over that time period to a multi doctor hospital. Our practice continues to grow and prosper because of our dedicated staff and wonderful clientele. We have a sound reputation in our community for providing outstanding patient care and being compassionate towards our patients and their owners. We are consistently voted the best veterinary practice in the area by readers of the Lewistown Sentinel.

You will find our practice quite unique, as we try to make everyone that trusts us with their veterinary care feel as though they are a member of our family. Our clients feel welcome when they walk in our front door, and trust us to not only provide excellent patient care, but to only perform procedures that their pets really need. We insist that everyone that enters our hospital, both animal and human, be treated with respect and compassion. When you visit our practice, you are not treated as merely a client, or someone bringing an animal for an appointment, but as individuals that we care deeply about.
