Join us Tuesdays at 10am for Svaroopa Yoga Breath & Movement! Learn the newest Svaroopa® yoga poses along with familiar poses that you know and love. These poses, called YogaBody, use therapeutic variations that include breath with movement for a deeper spinal release. The deeper spinal release unravels not only physical tensions but also the hidden patterns in your mind and emotions. The simple movements can dissolve lifetimes of tension and are profoundly healing. YogaBody poses provide the deepest spinal release of all the Svaroopa® yoga poses.
Settling inside comes easily, as you’re supported by meditative practices that are built into the class, which is what makes this class so healing. Before the final twist and Shavasana we sit and repeat mantra, which is yoga for your mind. Your mind can tighten your body more quickly than what you do physically. Adding mantra repetition to the class quiets your mind, which helps to prevent relapse (when you tighten back up again after class). It’s like scrubby bubbles for your mind. When you work with your mind directly your body and mind won’t revert back to their familiar contraction so quickly after class. The results of your yoga class last longer, yay!
