The number isn’t the surprising part. The reason behind it is.
Most people assume pelvic floor therapy is for women who are postpartum, menopausal, or dealing with severe symptoms.
But the average age of my clients is 33.
Not always because something has gone terribly wrong —
but because this is the age when many women finally start asking questions about their bodies and realizing there could be another way.
I think this matters because so many women believe pelvic floor therapy is only for a very specific stage of life. Yes, pelvic floor therapy can absolutely be helpful during postpartum or menopause — but it doesn’t have to be limited to those seasons of life.
The truth is:
You’re not too young.
You’re not too late.
You’re not too far gone.
You’re right on time.
If you know you’ve put off finding the root cause of your symptoms for a while, this post is not meant to create guilt or pressure to “fix your body.” We are all doing the best we can with the information we had at the time. If symptoms were ignored for years or pushed to the back burner because life was busy or overwhelming — that’s okay. There is no “too late” to start feeling better in your body.
And if you’re reading this thinking pelvic floor therapy is only for women who have had babies, gone through menopause, have prolapse, or p*e when they sneeze… it’s not.
Pelvic floor therapy can help women who are experiencing:
• chronic pelvic pain
• constipation
• pain with s*x
• persistent hip or back pain
• symptoms related to conditions like Ehlers-Danlos, POTS, endometriosis, or pelvic venous disorders
If you’re feeling disconnected from your body or unsure what the next step is, you don’t have to navigate this alone.
You can book an online consultation where we simply talk through your story and start mapping out a path forward so you can feel more in control of your body again. I’d love to support you!
