Last Friday, we hosted a training on co-occurring disorders. It was a really solid time to slow down, learn, and have honest conversations around addiction and mental health.

If you weren’t able to make it, we’ve got another one coming up on April 10. We’ll be focusing on reentry and what it actually looks like to support people after incarceration.

This week’s sponsor spotlight: GT Church

GT Church is a multi-site church in Pennsylvania with a heart to reach people and grow together in Christ, creating spaces where individuals and families can connect, grow, and find purpose.

Their commitment to serving others, both locally and globally, reflects the kind of impact that extends far beyond Sunday mornings.

Through their support, events like our Annual Golf Tournament are able to go even further.

We’re grateful to have them alongside us.

Mental health and addiction often go hand in hand, but many people miss the signs when both are present.

Join us for our next Dauphin County Training Series as we take a closer look at co-occurring disorders and how mental health and substance use intersect. This interactive training will help you better recognize what is happening beneath the surface and respond with practical tools and greater confidence.

Whether you work in ministry, social services, healthcare, or care about supporting people well, this is an important conversation to be part of.

The training will be led by Simon Dietz, LCSW, CAADC, Executive Director of the Samaritan Center.

Every black balloon represents a life that mattered and people who still carry the weight of that loss. Today, we remember them and continue working so fewer families have to experience that pain.

,

Today, we remember the lives lost to overdose and the families who continue to carry that grief. Black Balloon Day is a time to pause, remember, and pray for those impacted by addiction.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:18

We remember. We mourn. We continue working to see lives restored.
