It is with great pleasure that we announce the McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home’s Annual Family Fun Community Day will be held Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 3 until 7 p.m. at Lake Reidsville.
We are super excited because this year we are also celebrating our 95th year of service to this community. We are officially the oldest African American owned business in Rockingham County.
We pride ourselves not only for the professional and ethical services that we render but also being a positive beacon of light. We are community oriented and we love giving back.
This year will be bigger and better. We hope that you mark your calendars and get ready for an evening of fun for the entire family.

Today’s dinner box giveaway was very successful.
For the past 4 years, Bluestone Missionary Baptist Church has been feeding our community primarily during Easter and Thanksgiving. Special thanks to Pastor Hamid Kamara, The Admin Team, Eddie Mebane and all others who supported this endeavor.
Thank you for allowing McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home to host and staff (Beverly Bigelow and Margaret Brown) to assist you!
