This review stopped me in my tracks…
Not because it was glowing (though it is), but because it named exactly what we hoped this book would create: connection, curiosity, and action.
When we gathered 18 humans to co-create Handbook for Human Potential, the vision wasn’t “another personal growth book“
It was a living room.
A dinner table.
A place where ideas for conversation, conversations, and conversation conversations change how we live.
Then this reader shared their experience - and I felt it in my bones:
“Imagine you are at the best dinner party ever, where author/Editor/compiler Chandra Zas has gathered 18 of the most extraordinary vivacious, fascinating humans who discovered living WELL – fulfilling their human potential – and each ecstatic to share HOW with you!
In each chapter, Chandra, lovingly introduces the reader to the author with her personal connection story, as you would, a friend. The author, then perceives to share the profoundly valuable experiences within the chapter, finished with “key takeaways to implement” and a quote about the author quote with contact information to dive deeper.
From a readers perspective, meeting 18 authors was wildly exciting, and yet the format of the book is extremely cohesive. When cannot help, but become fully engaged, and even encouraged to take action towards personal growth. The individual texture of each authors words, writing voice, and style, gives his handbook, the appeal of a multi course tasting menu readers will be invariably inspired.

This is why we wrote it.
Not to be consumed alone – but to be shared, talked about, dog, eared, and passed hand to hand.
If you’ve read it, I’d love to know:
