“While life offers moments of joy, it also presents a range of challenges that can at times feel overwhelming. Emotions may be complex and difficult to process or fully understand. My goal is to offer an environment where you can address your emotions and experiences, while also identifying personal strengths as you work toward your individual goals.

With over sixteen years of experience serving clients of all ages—children, adults, and families—I have worked extensively within the community. My background includes direct support for children facing behavioral and emotional difficulties, as well as guidance for parents and caregivers managing these challenges. I also have experience supporting adults, including those facing financial and relationship challenges. My experience working with diverse populations has equipped me to advocate proficiently on behalf of individuals who may at times feel marginalized or underrepresented.

I look forward to working with you!”

“I believe that therapy is a space where you don’t have to face life’s hardest moments alone. Together, we can explore the challenges you’re facing, build on your strengths, and find meaningful ways to push forward. For the past 7 years, I have worked in the mental health field, with the last 3 years focused in a therapy setting. Prior to working in a therapist role, I worked for a local non-profit supporting families across Northern Nevada as they navigated life’s challenges. My goal is to always create a supportive and trusting alliance where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

In my practice, I take a person-centered approach, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral skills, interpersonal skills training, and play therapy to meet the unique needs of each client. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients can feel vulnerable, express emotions openly, and truly feel heard and seen. I will help walk alongside each individual in their journey, helping them build resilience, self-awareness, and tools for growth.”

Sarah Rosenbloom, MFTI

“Hi, my name is Sarah, and I'm a Marriage & Family Therapist Intern. Everyone can benefit from therapy - a space where you can safely explore your deepest emotions and scariest thoughts, learn and practice new skills, and find fresh perspectives. I can support (and challenge) you as you grow into the most authentic version of yourself. I can help you grow as an individual, improve your relationship as a couple, or help break unhealthy cycles in your family.

I work with individuals (ages 12 and older), couples & families. I specialize in supporting couples and individuals navigating infertility and non-traditional family-building including IVF, surrogacy & adoption. I also work with divorced/separated couples who are co-parenting.

Whatever your goals are for therapy, it takes courage to take the first steps of finding a therapist and I am glad you're here!”

Rachel Huff, LMSW, CSWI

“Hello! I am Rachel, and I look forward to getting to know you. I practice from a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective, grounded in the belief that every person carries inherent dignity, worth, and resilience. I have been a social worker for 23 years and have lived in Northern Nevada for the past 14 years, deeply valuing the relationships, schools, communities, and outdoor lifestyle that make this region unique. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions. I am committed to supporting individuals impacted by identity-based oppression and strive to create a therapeutic space that is affirming, culturally responsive, and grounded in social justice. My work recognizes how systems and lived experiences shape mental health while honoring each client’s strengths and capacity for growth.
My clinical approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), integrating practical tools with meaningful reflection. I believe that each person already possesses the skills and abilities needed to move toward an authentic and meaningful life. Therapy is not about fixing what is broken; it is about reconnecting with what is already there. Together, we clarify your values, process past experiences, and build skills that can help you move toward a life that feels authentic, grounded, and aligned with who you truly are.”

Elaina Vlassopoulos, LMFT

“No one needs to experience the painful things that happen in life alone. We all need acceptance and compassion. I believe therapy offers this by providing a safe space for processing, exploration, and growth. My goal is to walk alongside you during this journey and offer whatever support I can along the way. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where you can deepen self awareness, strengthen your voice, and feel empowered in your healing.

As a therapist I am passionate about my work with teenagers and adults navigating trauma, relationships, life transitions, and anxieties. One of my focuses is working with individuals that identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community and providing gender affirming care.

My approach is integrative and grounded in evidence based practices. I enjoy incorporating education about mental health conditions, symptoms, and treatments to empower recovery and improve coping skills in my sessions with clients.”

Three years ago, on February 1, 2023, Connected Therapy was born 💙

Lisa May created Connected with a vision: a practice that makes a real impact in our community and truly cares for the therapists and interns who make the work possible. Fair pay. Real support. A culture that prioritizes self-care.

We’ve stayed grounded in that mission and grown into a trusted pillar in our local mental health community.

Grateful. Proud. Just getting started. ✨
