STEP2 is a Reno-based nonprofit treatment center for women battling substance use disorder.

Over the past 40 years, we have provided a safe, supportive space and effective treatment program to help women in our community get and stay clean and sober.

STEP2’s newest resident arrived on campus with all the snow we got yesterday! She was a bit cold, but the ladies of STEP2 fixed her up with some clothes and gloves and she is settling into her new home nicely ☃️ She’s ready to start her path to recovery—You go, girl! 💞

A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO, MARI HUTCHINSON...

After nearly 15 years of calling this campus home, I’m sharing that I am stepping away from my role as CEO of STEP2.

Leading STEP2 has been the great honor of my career, and I believe wholeheartedly in its mission and impact. My life has been forever changed by the thousands of women I’ve met and learned from through this work, and I’m deeply proud of what we’ve built together alongside an extraordinary team, Board of Directors, and community of supporters.

I am endlessly grateful to our donors, partners, and friends who have made this work possible through their trust and generosity. I move on with immense gratitude, full confidence in the organization’s future, and a heart that will always be connected to STEP2 and its purpose. ❤
