𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡. The good news is that, since 1970, there has been a 𝟗𝟎% 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐬 due to heart attacks in the US! This is due to better treatment, people learning CPR, less smoking and more medications to treat high cholesterol.
But, we still have work to do. Longer-term mortality due to rising diabetes, obesity and hypertension still claim more lives than cancer and accidental deaths combined.
Exercise, blood pressure management, clean eating and stress reduction can all contribute to your better heart health!
