Are you a helper or healer in the world who not only takes on your own stuff, but everyone else’s as well?
Are you able to feel when you are unable to hold it all by yourself?
At that point, are you able to ask for help? Do you know who to ask?
As someone who gives a lot and loves to do so, I have found it incredibly challenging and rewarding to learn how to receive from others. It’s a practice I am still learning to embrace.
And.
I know how incredibly important it is to ask for support sometimes.
That aid could come in the form of a talk with a close friend, a session with another trusted healer, or even rescheduling something because I’m in need of quiet time to tend to myself.
When my cup is full, I am able to serve at a higher level. I take this topic very seriously, so I am able to show up for others in the best possible way.
My friend Leigh Hurst from Purposeful Living Healing Center kindly invited me to talk a little about this today on Morning Break with KOLO Katey Roshetko
Thank you so much for the invitation, Leigh. It means a lot.
Katey, thank you for being a wonderful host and for allowing Leigh to bring me along.
