We are so excited to share that Vania Carter-Strauss, MidTown Board member & owner of Prude & Boujee, will be traveling to D.C. next week as Sen. Jacky Rosen’s personal guest for the State of the Union Address!

Vania has been invited to represent Nevada small business owners and the struggles they are facing to stay in business. She will be sharing experiences on the specific policies that affect the supply chain, supporting employees, and other facets of running a small business.

Dancing in the Streets (DITS) brings together thousands of locals and visitors for a day of live music, dance, art and support for local businesses. This event costs $60,000 to put on, and it’s completely run by MidTown Reno, a non-profit organization. It’s not funded by the city—it’s made possible by business owners, sponsors, and people like you who want to keep events like this happening for free in Reno.

Your donation—whether it's $5, $25, $50, or $100—helps keep this event alive. Every contribution, big or small, ensures that we can continue bringing this vibrant community celebration to Reno, free for everyone to enjoy.

• Medical and security services
