I opened The Journey Senior Care in September 2023 as a one-person operation, driven by a passion to make a real difference in the senior care community. After witnessing the inconsistency and impersonal nature of large caregiving companies—where caregivers were frequently rotated and families rarely saw the same face twice—I knew there had to be a better way.
I founded this company on one core belief: trust is everything. Seniors deserve consistent, high-quality care from someone they can build a relationship with. I made a promise to myself—and to every family I serve—that The Journey would always prioritize continuity and compassion.
Over the past year and a half, I’ve worked tirelessly to build strong relationships with providers, understand the full scope of community resources available to seniors, and establish a reputation for excellence among fellow care professionals.
Now, we’re proud to announce a major milestone. Starting April 14th, our brochures will be available in every hospital, hospice, oncology center, and rehabilitation facility across Northern Nevada. We’re expanding our services beyond Reno and Sparks to reach rural communities as well.
The Journey Senior Care offers everything from basic premium care to compassionate end-of-life support. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I’m truly excited for what lies ahead—for our team, for the families we serve, and for the seniors whose lives we hope to enrich.
