In my healing practice I see alot of darkness. It is why people come to me; they're feeling unsure, down and sometimes frustrated with life. They come to me not for answers to their problems, but to gain support and knowledge during heavy experiences.
Quite often emotions such as fear, sadness, anger and depression are labeled as "dark". These feelings often create a "heavy" feeling on the person experienceing them leaving a "dark" spot in their aura/energy field.
Often we are taught in the Spiritual world to think positve and move forward thus resulting in us categorizing emotions as "good" or "bad", "positive" or "negative". This reaction creates the demonizing of the "dark" and less desirable emotions.
But is it not in these very emotions we find the light and the courage to overcome?
When these feelings are addressed, you then gain the courage to move beyond. But you have to address them; you have to shine the light.
I want to share an experience I had in my second year of giving energy sessions; 6 years into my deliberate Spiritual Path.
A man came to me in hopes of gaining some clarity and stability in what were incredibly emotional times. During our session, the largest Angel I've ever experienced in form, stood at the crown of his head while I was grounding him out by the feet. The Angel was hooded and black, wings enormous. He never for one second felt evil but instead he felt to me as an Angel of Mercy.
This man's turmoil was asking alot of him, but if he were to embrace the healing of his emotions he would victoriously overcome, sword in hand. Chakras cleared and meditation complete, he left with a sense of calm and a clearer idea of his situation.
Often times Energy work can help clear some of the energetic fog and put you in a state of relaxation where personal perspective can be gained.
It is in the deep darkness of relaxation where we can find our light.
