The Northern Nevada Nurses of Achievement Committee members are supporting the 2017 Reno Go for Women sponsored by the American Heart Association of Northern Nevada, today at the Downtown Reno Ball Room from 10:00am to 1:30pm.

The campaign is designed to raise awareness about women and heart disease. In addition to helping our community improve their heart health, it supports vital research and awareness of cardiovascular disease and stroke.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Northern Nevada Nurses of Achievement (NNNOA) page!

Dedicated to excellence in the promotion of the nursing profession, the NNNOA is a premier organization for the advocacy of nurses. The NNNOA offers scholarships, networking opportunities, and recognition of outstanding nurses contributing to the health and wellness of the northern Nevada community.

The mission of the NNNOA is to inspire all nurses to advance quality health care through practice, education, and leadership. In collaboration with the Nevada Hospital Association (NHA), the NNNOA encourages retention within the nursing profession and works to focus public attention on the outstanding contributions of the nurses in northern Nevada while inspiring future nurses in the profession of nursing.
