HOPES is grateful to Anthem for a generous $35,000 donation supporting our new Psychiatric Residency Program.

As mental health needs continue to rise across Northern Nevada, this program brings additional clinical expertise directly into our primary care setting.

In partnership with the University of Nevada School of Medicine, psychiatric residents train alongside our providers for a full year - helping HOPES serve more patients with timely, compassionate behavioral health care.

Anthem’s investment strengthens this critical program and advances our commitment to accessible mental health services for our community.

Happy National Women Physicians Day!

At HOPES, the majority of our physicians are women, leading our team‑based approach to care with integrity and compassion. They work across departments every day to ensure patients have access to the services they need. From behavioral health and case management to nutrition and pharmacy.

We are grateful for the dedication, collaboration, and heart our women physicians bring to our patients and our community.

February is American Heart Month, a reminder to focus on preventing heart disease, the leading cause of death in the United States. This month encourages all of us to learn our risk factors, understand the signs of heart disease, and take simple steps that support long term heart health. ❤️

We’re committed to helping our community build healthier habits, manage blood pressure, access preventive care, and stay informed about ways to protect the heart at every age.

This Black History Month, we honor the Black medical pioneers whose hospitals advanced care, dignity, and opportunity despite segregation. The historic nurses pictured represent the resilience and leadership that helped shape modern medical education and patient advocacy.

At HOPES, we carry that spirit forward by ensuring our patients receive compassionate, accessible, and community centered care, because everyone deserves a place where they are seen, supported, and empowered. 💜
