Dr. Levin and the team at Western Surgical completed the first minimally invasive arterial procedure at Galena Surgical Center today.

We are proud to offer the region’s only multispeciality outpatient limb salvage program, Sierra Limb Salvage (SLS), specifically to prevent amputations and limb loss.

At Western Surgical, we perform minimally invasive blood vessel procedures to restore circulation to the limbs, with no incisions at all, and in an outpatient setting.

Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer — but early detection saves lives! Use the ABCDE rule to check your moles and spots:

A – Asymmetry: One half doesn’t match the other.
B – Border: Edges are irregular, ragged, or blurred.
C – Color: Multiple colors or uneven shades.
D – Diameter: Larger than 6mm (about the size of a pencil eraser).
E – Evolving: Changes in size, shape, or color over time.
