Kristy has been an Operating Room nurse since 2015, and her passion for caring for patients shines in everything she does. Since joining Surgery Nevada in 2023, she has found not just a workplace, but a true home, a place where the team, culture, and spirit make every day meaningful. Kristy looks forward to many more years of learning, growing, and supporting her patients with compassion and skill.

Outside the Operating Room, Kristy is a devoted wife to her high school sweetheart, Zach, and a proud mom of four incredible children. She is grateful for the love and support of her family, who have cheered her on as she followed her dream of becoming a nurse. While her career is a remarkable achievement, her greatest joy comes from her family.

Dr. McCormack believes every patient deserves care that’s expert, compassionate, and focused on their unique health needs.

Specializing in men’s health, kidney stone disease, hormone replacement therapy, and voiding dysfunction, Dr. McCormack incorporates state-of-the-art treatment techniques, including Aquablation therapy, Green Light photovaporization for the prostate, botox for the bladder, and minimally-invasive approaches with the da Vinci Surgical System.

A Stanford-trained and board-certified urologist, Dr. McCormack moved to Reno in 2007 with his wife and two children. Outside the clinic, he enjoys swimming, hiking, stargazing, and reading history.
