Nevada Question 9 allows for the legal possession, use, growing, and distribution of medical ma*****na within Nevada. Patients who obtain a physician recommendation for medical ma*****na may legally posses up to one (1) ounce of usable medical cannabis, use medical ma*****na legally in their private residence, and obtain Nevada cannabis from a certified primary caregiver. Nevada medical ma*****na patients are permitted to legally grow up to three (3) mature medical cannabis plants in their own private residence; and up to four (4) seedlings, or immature plants. Nevada medical ma*****na patients may not sell medical cannabis to other medical ma*****na patients; only designated primary caregivers may distribute cannabis to patients. A medical ma*****na license does not guarantee immunity from workplace restriction on the use of medical ma*****na; or housing restriction on the possession, growing, or use of medical cannabis. Driving under the influence of cannabis is prohibited under Question 9. Nevada does not share reciprocity with other medical ma*****na states. Potential Nevada medical cannabis patients should consult with a physician, or medical cannabis registration company, to determine qualification to use medical ma*****na in Nevada.
