We want to recognize two of our employees for achieving "Employee of the Month" at both our hospital and our medical group. We are acknowledging Erika and Cathi for this exciting accomplishment!

Here are just a few of the wonderful comments that were submitted on these employees:

Erika – "There are not enough words to describe the care and compassion displayed by Erika towards my 92-year-old mother. She made a very difficult situation easy. She gave my mom dignity in all situations, and she genuinely gave her comfort, safety, and overall, a sense of security. Truly, she is a great asset to this hospital."

Cathi – "Cathi is a very valuable asset to the Saint Mary’s team. She is always willing to assist with any issues when asked. Cathi has extensive knowledge and experience. She is a pleasure to work with, and she deserves recognition for all her hard work and dedication."

Congratulations to you both for being nominated and selected as our Employees of the Month. Saint Mary's Health Network is proud to have you on our team and helping to provide the best care and service to our community! 🎉

We’d like to introduce you to our Oncology team!

The oncology unit at Saint Mary’s is a close-knit team dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients facing cancer and other serious medical conditions. From diagnosis to recovery, our staff stands by each patient with expert care and heartfelt support, because here, no one faces cancer alone.

As a medical oncology unit, this team has the honor of caring for patients along the continuum of cancer diagnoses, as well as patients with a variety of other medical needs, including infection, neurological problems, chronic conditions, and new or worsening symptoms. The oncology unit includes 10 patient rooms, allowing for personalized, focused care and meaningful connections with patients and families.

When asked about the best parts of working in Oncology, the team shared:
“The Oncology unit is more than just a workplace; it’s a family. Here, we support each other and stand united as a team, providing compassionate care to patients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. It’s a place where strength, empathy, and genuine connection define how we care for our patients and how we care for each other.”

We are so proud of our Oncology team for their unwavering dedication and compassion. Thank you for the exceptional care you provide to our patients and to one another every day.
