We’re excited to announce our first Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) Certification Training of 2026!! This 3-day training course includes classroom learning, hands-on practice with car seats and vehicles, and participation in a community child safety seat checkup. Open to all professional backgrounds — no prior experience required, and you do not have to live/work in Jasper County to attend training.

Location: Jasper County Health Department, 910 S Sparling Ave, Rensselaer, IN 47978

Dates: Wednesday, April 15th - Friday, April 17th
Time: 7am - 5pm (CDT)

Cost: $125 total - $95 course fee + $30 local training fee (covers training-related expenses & paid after registration)

The City of Rensselaer Water Department issued a boil water advisory on February 6, 2026, for customers along N. McKinley Ave (U.S. 231) from Merritt St. to Wood Rd. due to a water main break that resulted in a loss of system pressure. See information BELOW:
