This is a wonderful flyer Alex made for Elkys cause :) Please keep the good vibes and donations coming :) She's doing extraordinarily well considering her condition but I think it's because she's knows we're doing our best to keep her healthy and safe. Right now she is taking a chicken nap in her private indoor suite eating only the finest shells and chicken feed with filtered water... I'm not playing!!!

Well we have some potentially good news. The avian specialist we go to at AHCC (Dr. Ferguson) wants to do x-rays and blood work to determine how long we can put off surgery, and she also thinks the cancer is not near Elkys liver which is great news for now :) Again, any donations at all would be greatly appreciated. We will be doing better financially in the next few months but Elky may not be able to wait that long. We appreciate all of the well wishes and kind words too

So good update folks! Elky is actually looking more comfortable than these last few weeks. I think it's just the meds but the cancer is operable so if we just keep up on the meds until we have the funding she should be okay!

This rare vintage Nintendo sign is worth a lot but can not compare to the value of my friend Elky. 100% of the money will go straight to her surgery so this really is a stellar deal. Potentially save a life AND get a very collectable item to display in your wreck room :)

I've just upped the ante. I'm selling my very rare vintage Super Nintendo neon light (that works great!) for 250.00 It retails at 450.00 but I need anything I can for my mama bird, she doesn't have much time. Make an offer!

By going to the info section of this page, you can learn how to donate to Elky's surgery fund through The Animal Health Care Center of Renton. Donations can be made by phone and by stopping in. Every penny helps!!!!

I can stress enough, how much we would appreciate everyone spreading this page and telling anyone they can think of that might be willing to donate, even just 50 cents adds up. If everyone told their friends and so on, Elky might be able to pull through this!
