We had a wonderful time at our petting zoo visit in long-term care! A big thank you to Karen Konz, DVM for bringing along some very special guests—Jack the donkey, Bunny the goat, and a sweet bunny named Benny.🐴🐐🐰

Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our on-site team in Republic, WA. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement therapy programs to help patients regain independence in daily living and improve quality of life. Responsibilities include evaluating patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, conducting rehabilitation sessions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role involves working with patients of all ages to address diverse needs, including pediatrics and post-acute care, in alignment with Ferry County Health's mission to deliver personalized and impactful care.

Qualifications
Expertise in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation practices for both inpatients and outpatients
Foundational understanding of medical principles and their application in therapy
Effective Communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
Ability to design and execute personalized, innovative care plans
State licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility for licensure in Washington State)
Bachelor's or greater degree in occupational therapy required.
Compassionate, patient-focused approach coupled with strong problem-solving skills
Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams is a plus
