Some of our staff were able to step away to attend the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce 2025 Non-Profit Outlook this afternoon! 💙

The round-table discussion focused on how changes in federal funding are impacting non-profit operations and strategic planning for the year ahead. It was a great opportunity to connect with other non-profits across the Springfield area and share ideas on this important and timely topic.

A huge thank-you to the Springfield Chamber of Commerce for organizing such a relevant and educational event! 👏

I'm famous!!! Well, maybe I'm working on famous... Madelyn took an adorable photo of me a few weeks ago. A talent agent (or maybe a staff member) saw my photo and decided that I was star quality!! Next Tuesday the 18th are having our second annual Volunteer Thanksgiving Potluck! I'll be there, and any volunteers are welcome to come join me! Any attendees need to reach out to either Toby or Sophie to plan your potluck item, or keep an eye on your email for an email from Sophie with the sign up list. I'm bringing turkey and ham.... But I really like deviled eggs and pumpkin pie!

The Physical Therapy team at Dynamic Strides is excited to welcome a fall student to the facility. Sofia is a second-year student in the Missouri State University Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She is excited to be completing her first pediatric rotation with us. Sofia will be here for 6-weeks and will be working with both Amanda and Madelyn to be sure she gets a well rounded introduction to outpatient pediatric therapy. When she is not studying or in clinic, Sofia enjoys riding her bike, fixing up her house and singing loudly in her car. If you see her around the clinic, be sure to introduce yourself and welcome her to the DST Team even if it's just for a little bit!

This event gave us the opportunity to share our mission and vision with key members of the Republic business community. We’re grateful for the chance to highlight the impact of our work and to build relationships with future partners and stakeholders who share our commitment to making a difference.

Meowdy -

I slept through the whole Momo Monday! I was locked into the clinic overnight and spent the whole time exploring, now I'm petered out. No wonder you guys like the sensory gym! I tried out the swings and the zip line, and curled up on the rock. It was great!

Did you guys see that we are hiring some more support staff for me? Technically it'll be support for the volunteers, but they all take care of me, so.. It's the same thing, right? If you know anyone who wants to be a part of my team have them talk to Sophie or Toby!

Do you have a passion for working with kids and horses? Do you have experience recruiting, coordinating and educating volunteers? We would love to add you to our team!

We are currently hiring for a Volunteer Coordinator and/or an Equine Assistant. These roles are currently combined into one full time position, however can flex them into two part time positions for the right applicants.
