THE MEDICAL TEAM is grateful for all of the veterans we work with and serve, from all our clients and families to any veterans among our own staff and volunteers! Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸

We are also grateful to be recognized in several of our locations by We Honor Veterans, a program of the National Alliance for Care at Home that highlights home health, hospice, and palliative care agencies that provide quality health care and resources for veterans in need.

Congratulations to our Virginia TEAM for their recent promotion to a 3-star rating from We Honor Veterans! This rating reflects the dedication of our staff to provide exemplary home health and hospice services to veteran patients and organizations in our local community.

Our Reston office is now accepting food donations now to support Cook For Vets, Inc.'s Thanksgiving Food Drive!

Drop offs of any of the accepted food items listed in the flyer can be brought to 1896 Preston White Drive, Reston, VA during our business hours any week day now through November 7 (next Friday).

𝗔 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀

I could not be more proud of our incredible TEAM of dedicated individuals who stepped up this past weekend after the devastating fire at American House Southgate, a senior living community in Michigan where we provide supportive services. Our staff at Southgate, as well as caregivers from a nearby American House we serve, came forward to assist the residents during a very scary time.

We would like to specifically acknowledge:
➡️ 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳, 𝗝𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗮𝘆, and 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 for their courageous efforts in carrying residents to safety.
➡️ 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮 and 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, the first managers on the scene, who provided critical leadership.
➡️ 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮, 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘆𝗮, 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲, 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲, 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗲, 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝗮, and 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗵 for their dedicated support and actions during this crisis.
➡️ Social workers 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮 and 𝗝𝗼𝗱𝘆 who met with every resident/family and made arrangements to find a safe home, be that with family or another senior living community. All Southgate residents and staff have been safely relocated to nearby communities, where they will continue to receive the care they need.

I am truly grateful to each and every one of our TEAM who went above and beyond this weekend. Your commitment to doing the right thing in the most trying circumstances says it all.
