Madisonhealth

Madisonhealth Madisonhealth, is east Idaho's premiere healthcare system comprising of eight robust clinics. Over the years, we've enjoyed great respect and recognition.

The Madison Memorial brand has been well loved throughout the community. But we're growing. We're more than a hospital now. We're two of the most robust medical clinics in the area. We're a technologically advanced surgery center. We're an orthopedics practice. A radiology clinic. A rehabilitation center. A Huntsman-affiliated cancer care center. And so much more. Our team is more than 700 strong, all of us collaborating to inspire healthy living in our community. And we're joined by a network of 270 providers. "Hospital" no longer describes us. We're a system. We are Madisonhealth.

We had the wonderful opportunity to welcome Country Supplier | CAL Ranch & Coastal to Madison Memorial Hospital this week to present a generous $596 donation to the Madison Memorial Hospital Foundation, benefiting our Cancer Care Center. 💗

What makes this gift even more special is that the initiative came straight from the hearts of our local CAL Ranch team, who independently raised these funds to support breast cancer awareness and care in our community. In a time when it’s expensive just to exist, your choice to give your hard-earned dollars to help others means more than you know.

We’re honored to be trusted stewards of your generosity—and promise to stretch every dollar to make a meaningful impact for local patients and families.

During their visit, we showed the CAL Ranch team around our facilities and shared more about the ongoing needs and initiatives that bring vital cancer support close to home.

Accepting the check on behalf of the Foundation are Terri Barton, Foundation Chair, and Scott Wheeler, Foundation Vice Chair.

The Madison Memorial Hospital Foundation continues to be a vessel for good, connecting community compassion with real, lasting change. If you’d like to make a difference, learn more about our work, or contribute to programs like this, please reach out to the MMH Foundation. Every act of generosity—big or small, builds hope and health for our community.

These beautiful quilts, modeled by our amazing RMC providers/staff, were handmade by the Rigby Quilt Guild and donated to the Rigby Medical Center, a part of our Madisonhealth family. 🧵

Each quilt represents so much more than fabric and thread. They symbolize comfort for those walking through some of life’s hardest moments when days feel dark, lonely, or uncertain.

Donations like these blankets go directly to our Cancer Care Center, as well as to our surgery centers and emergency departments for our pediatric patients, offering warmth and reassurance when it’s needed most.

These gifts wrap our patients in the love of a stranger, the warmth of community, and the hope of healing. 💛

A HUGE thank you to the members of the Rigby Quilt Guild for this priceless donation of care.

If you, your family, group, club, or organization would like to donate to or host a drive for our Cancer Care and Pediatric Comfort Care kits, please contact Jess Goudy at jessica.goudy@madisonhealth.org
to arrange a meaningful drive or donation DIRECTLY BENEFITTING our community members. ❤️

🎥 Meet Corey Smith, PharmD, BCOP
Oncology Pharmacist at Madisonhealth

We’re shining the spotlight on one of the compassionate experts behind the care — Corey Smith, an Oncology Pharmacist dedicated to ensuring every patient receives high-quality, evidence-based treatment and compassionate advocacy.

Corey earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Texas A&M Rangel College of Pharmacy in Kingsville, Texas. In 2013, he completed a Post Graduate Year (PGY-1) residency at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Temple. After residency, he joined the Baylor Scott & White Vasicek Cancer Center as an Infusion/Ambulatory Oncology Pharmacist, later becoming a Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) in 2016.

✨ Corey is one of only nineteen pharmacists in the entire state of Idaho to hold this advanced oncology certification — a testament to his dedication, expertise, and passion for patient care. ✨

His professional interests include oncology, infectious disease, pharmacogenomics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacy informatics — all with the shared goal of making sure patients feel seen, known, and supported every step of the way.

Outside of work, Corey enjoys woodworking, gardening, technology, and movie nights with his wife and two children. Since moving to Idaho in 2019, they’ve made it home — growing roots, both in their garden and in their community. 🌱

💙 We’re grateful to have Corey on our team, helping ensure that every patient receives not only the best care, but the most human care.

Our Story

Madison Memorial in Rexburg, Idaho is dedicated every day to the new discoveries in the art and science of healthcare. Exciting medical advances are taking place whether it’s a patient who undergoes a new, life-saving procedure or a clinical researcher who finds promise in a new cancer treatment or therapies for chronic health conditions. Madison Memorial, the only county-owned, non-critical access healthcare entity in Idaho, is a 69 bed, full-service facility. It is on the forefront of providing evidence-based holistic patient care and linking its community members to the most progressive physicians, treatment, and medical technology available. Madison Memorial has grown substantially over the years, but has never lost the enduring goal of fulfilling the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of those we serve. The organization has earned the ISO 9001-2000, or “deemed status”, the most sought after recognition for quality outcome management by international healthcare organizations. Madison’s Board of Trustees and executive leadership team have set a vision to be a premier regional healthcare provider that is committed to excellence everyday as part of the patient’s healing experience. Madison’s medical staff and highly skilled nurses provide state-of-the-art, comprehensive patient-centered care, through a competent, healing, and trustworthy team. Madison Memorial’s services include outpatient clinics, dedicated physician practice groups, and offers a variety of specialty areas - many are linked to nationally and internationally recognized healthcare institutions. Madison is clearly committed and able to provide quality healthcare to the families of our community through all of life’s stages, which creates healthier communities. Madison is currently in the process of developing our services to include multidisciplinary Centers of Excellence in the form of a Women’s Health Institute, Oncology center, as well as a cardiovascular center – each to be certified, accredited, and specially designed to meet the needs of our surrounding counties and medical provider community.
