More than 53 million Americans are family caregivers and we KNOW some of the very best are here in East Idaho.

Here at Therapy Services at Madisonhealth, we see and appreciate you. You lift, remind, encourage, drive, schedule, and support, usually while balancing everything else in your own life.

At Madison - We Do That.
CARDIAC REHABILITATION. Did you know? 1 in 4 patients who have a coronary event will have a second and potentially fatal one. HOWEVER, patients are 62% less likely to be re-hospitalized if they participate in Cardiac Rehabilitation. AND, Cardiac patients who participate in Cardiac Rehabilitation save between $4950 and $9200 dollars a year in medical expenses.

So who needs it? Those who have a history of:
Heart Attack / Acute Myocardial Infarction
Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery
Current Stable Angina Pectoris
Heart Valve Repair or Replacement
Coronary Stenting / Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty
Heart or Heart & Lung Transplant
Congestive Heart Failure

TOMORROW September 4th is Jeff's birthday! Jeff is a Speech-Language Pathologist and leads the SLP department here at Therapy Services. He stays busy doing everything from swallowing treatments to addressing language, speech, and cognitive concerns.

DEEP MUSCLE TREATMENTS. Therapy Services is happy to have a number of therapeutic tools, such as this GK-3 Medical Percussion Massager that can give patients a deep muscle and tissue massage. The massage facilitates rapid muscle recovery and inflammation reduction. Additionally, the massage, when done by our therapists as part of a comprehensive treatment plan, can relieve pain and stress in the soft tissues, nerves and muscles as well as stimulate the circulatory system and improve lymphatic drainage.
