What we're doing to protect our Patients and Staff
At Eyeglass Wearhouse, your family's health and wellness are our number one priority. Considering the growing concerns surrounding the novel Coronavirus, we want to assure you that we are dedicated to keeping our team and patients healthy. We are staying informed on the latest updates and recommendations from the CDC and the Franklin County Health Department regarding appropriate precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
We are currently maintaining our normal business hours and plan to do so until further notice. Should that change, we will post on our website and communicate directly with those patients that have appointments as soon as possible. Our goal is to continue serving our patients in the safest environment possible.
While we routinely sanitize our stores, we’re taking extra precautions by disinfecting our facilities multiple times throughout the day including: door-handles, light-switches, faucets, trash receptacles, diagnostic equipment, counter tops, chairs, eyewear, and other common surfaces, that patients and staff routinely come in contact with.
To best protect yourself, please wash hands frequently with soap and water and avoid touching your face.
When you visit our stores, you'll be asked to please wash your hands upon entry. Furthermore, we've sanitized all of our eyeglass frames and ask that you please place any eyeglass frame that has been tried-on into a tray so we can sanitize it before returning it to our displays. We also have alcohol wipes available for your convenience throughout the stores.
Lastly, if you or a member of your family is feeling ill, especially with fever or acute respiratory symptoms, we kindly request you contact us to reschedule your appointment. We have instructed our team to do the same.
As always, there will not be a charge to reschedule an appointment on short notice due to illness.
Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these unprecedented times.
