Learn a Unique Form of Container Magic!

Arias Ethaniel Presents: Talismanic Magic 101

Talismanic magic is a form of container magic at its core. The intention behind them is primarily to gather a specific energy and direct it to a given intention to help accomplish a given goal or intention. In this workshop, we'll be discussing the underpinning principles of creation of a functional talisman.

Those attending should have notebook, a writing utensil, a protractor, a burin, and a thin sheet of metal on which to work, as well as frankincense incense, an incense burner, and a funnel. (If you don't have these items, you can attend the class and then work using the recording.)

Learn All About the Spirits of the Season!

Since we covered so many different topics on the broad subject of winter in our last class, I needed to have a second one focused solely on the different spirits, historical entities, and deities based in winter. Not to mention all of the celebrations and observances as well! so in this extra credit continuation of the last class we'll be touching on just that!

Topics include:
Mythological/historical figures of the season

~ Old Man Winter: A personification of winter, often depicted as an old man who brings the cold with his breath.

~ The Holly King: In Celtic mythology, he represents winter, ruling from the summer solstice until the winter solstice, when he is defeated by the Oak King.

~ Persephone: The Greek myth explains the origin of the seasons. When Persephone is in the underworld with Hades, her mother Demeter's grief causes the barrenness of autumn and winter.

~ La Befana: In Italian folklore, she is a witch-like figure who flies on a broom during the winter solstice, leaving gifts for children.

~ Krampus/St. Nicholas

~ Yuki-onna: A spirit from Japanese folklore associated with snow and winter, often depicted as a beautiful, tall woman.
~ The Cailleach: A winter goddess in Scottish and Irish folklore, often depicted as an old woman who brings the winter storm season.

~ A winter calendar of celebrations and how to work with the spirits thereof

2026 Reading for The Year!!!

Well, 2025 was all that the cards said it would be. It's time to come together again and see what the cards, and the astrological forecast, have to say about 2026. Neptune is going back into Aries, and it will stay there until at least 2038. We are going to have to take action to remain realistic and not use propaganda to shape our decisions. Saturn is also re-entering Aries, and we are going to have to make strong efforts to use our aggression wisely. Uranus returns to Gemini in the spring, and we will have to fight the chaotic nature of the media in order to stand up for truth and progress.

With all of the major shifts that continue to take place, I always want to throw cards on it to see how to best navigate celestial energy. Based on the divination, I will also be suggesting spellwork for each month so we can manipulate energy to get it to work for us.

Everyone who registers and attends will get a link to the recording. If you cannot make it in person, you can buy the recording as well. At the end of the divination, I will turn off the recording and do an optional, personal card of the year pull for all who are in attendance.
