We are excited to welcome Dr. Nicole Rawls (https://www.facebook.com/DrNicoleTruesdell) as our new Astrology instructor at Big Liz Conjure (https://www.biglizconjure.com/) ! She is a Black q***r artist, astrologer, anthropologist, and storyteller. A former higher education administrator and professor, who left in 2021 to focus on her own creations, Dr. Rawls now leads the Dream Praxis Studio and Embodied Futures Lab (https://www.patreon.com/cw/drnicolerawls) .

Through her work, she blends art, strategy, and Astrology to help individuals and collectives reconnect with their bodies, dreams, and creative power. She is a Western Tropical Whole Signs Astrologer who blends traditional and modern understandings of astrology through a Black Q***r anthropological lens.

Grounded in spirit, and connected to the world we live in, Dr. Rawls uses her personal experiences and deep knowledge of culture to guide others toward a reimagined future rooted in justice and liberation of the human.

Our Ancestors are NOT all resting in peace. Our Ancestors are hungry. Our Ancestors are thirsty. Our Ancestors are angry. Our Ancestors are restless. Our Ancestors are Dark Dead, and they are intranquil.

They were tortured. They were kidnapped. They were r***d. Their children, your forebears, were treated like cattle.

It's time to WAKE UP! It's time to break this spell. It's time to let THEIR voices be heard and to move accordingly.

The dead find peace when their grievances are addressed, and our grievances are one and the same.

We Are Offering this Series for the First Time!

"One of my fav subjects is divination, especially catomancy. When most folx hear this, the automatically think the Tarot, modern oracle cards or playing cards. But there is another system of cards that is dear to my heart; "le petite Lenormand" oracle! I'm excited to teach this one because it's such a fascinting system of an already amzing form of divination.

This "little fortune telling" deck was named for, and made famous by, the reknowned French seer Mme. Marie Lenormand (1772-1843). Her amazingly accurate readings, for both commoner and kings alike, were uncanny. She became legend, as did her card deck/system. As popularity waned, only a few knew about this system. But with renewed intrest in the Lenormand oracle, we wanted to present this series! So get you a spot and join me as we explore this amazing oracle!
