MLK Day isn’t just a day “off.” It’s a day on. ❤️

Tbh, I’ve always had mixed feelings about “Days of Service.”

Sometimes it can feel performative… like we should be doing this all the time. Like how soup kitchens & other orgs get a flood of volunteers around the holidays… but need support all year long.

It’s a good reminder that community care is something we practice year-round.

With everything going on in our country right now… we need dedicated days of service as reminders.

Reminders to slow down, to reconnect, to look out for each other, and to choose love even when it feels harder than ever.

I don’t know what Dr. King would think if he saw us in 2026…
but I do believe he’d still want us to keep showing up in community, in kindness, and in action.

So on MLK Day, we’re doing what we can:
✨ move + reset together
✨ make sandwiches for our neighbors

📍 Lang Carson Community Center
🧘🏽‍♀️🧘🏻‍♂️Vin/Yin Yoga: 10AM (please reserve your spot)
🥪 Sandwich making starts after class ~ 11
is providing some supplies, & with your help we’re aiming to make 100+ sandwiches to donate to the free fridge in EAV.

Come for yoga. Stay for service. Or join for whichever part you can.

Every little bit counts.

Beach yoga looks dreamy… until sand is in your eyeballs, your feet start sinking, and people are staring😅

I made a few shapes for the photos, but I honestly didn’t hold poses or flow this trip.

The real practice was savasana & staring at the sky, floating, swimming with the fishies, and letting myself just be.

Exactly what I needed.
Yoga isn’t a performance.
Sometimes the practice is stillness.

See you back on the mat this weekend, Atlanta! ✨

Yoga is the most responsible way to avoid responsibilities.
It’s called self-care on a mat. 😌
Come flow with us and take a little break from life — your body and brain will thank you. ♥️

Sundays in R-Town are pretty great ✨

We had the best time flowing with the this season!

The market might be done for the year, but yoga will keep going year-round.

When the weather is gross, we will be inside the Lang Carson Community Center — same vibe, just a little cozier.

After class, we’ll stroll over to for coffee + hangs ☕️

Still donation-based, still good vibes, always community driven.

See you Sunday ✨♥️

Vulnerable post - handle with care ♥️

We usually see the highlight reel — packed classes, perfect poses, big smiles. And yes, those moments are real and wonderful. But so is this part — the quieter seasons, canceled classes, and days that test motivation.

This weekend was a tough one for Yoga.ATL. A class was canceled due to low sign-ups, and while the donation-based class was cozy and heartfelt, the donations didn’t come in.

I’m not sharing this for sympathy — I’m sharing it because this is the reality for many small, heart-led businesses.

Behind every instructor, small business, or passion project is a real person — one juggling emotions, bills, full-time jobs, and still showing up to create something meaningful.

Yoga.ATL isn’t backed by sponsors or studios. It’s fueled by purpose — to build community through movement, to offer accessible yoga, and to make wellness feel within reach for everyone.

If you love what I’m doing & want to support:

🧘🏽‍♀️ Come take class when you can (link in bio!)
📣 Share a post or tag a friend
💛 Donate if you’re able (even $5 — the price of a small coffee — helps cover costs and keep these classes going)
✨Know that your support means more than you think

To others in the same boat — I see you. Many factors are beyond our control. Keep showing up, believing, and supporting each other.

Our world is wild. Yoga brings calm in the chaos. Keep moving.

The mission stays the same: community through movement. 🤍

With gratitude,
Ali

One year ago today, Yoga.ATL came to life. A cute lil park & a big ole heart turned into a space for movement, connection, and community. ♥️

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this—whether you’ve been flowing with me since 8/25/24, messaged kind words of encouragement, or just came to your first class this week. You mean so much to me and I am so grateful to be a part of your practice and community.

Here’s to more flows, more hangs, and leaning on each other in this wild world. Keep showing up—we are in this together. ✨🫶🏼

Huge love to the local businesses who’ve teamed up with me this past year to make building community through movement extra special:

Yoga.ATL is more than yoga—it’s community. ✨ We don’t need a fancy studio, just human connection and space to hang out off the mat. Together we sip coffee, shop local veggies, swap stories, and share our favorite ATL gems. 🫶

For our Poses & Picnic Celebration this Sunday (8/24), we’re so grateful to partner with these incredible businesses + organizations:

🥕 – local vendors will be sharing samples and goodies for you to shop + take home.

🏡 — the reason we have a rainy-day community center spot! Dedicated to connecting and uplifting the Reynoldstown neighborhood.

☕ – serving iced coffee with your $15 ticket! This small but mighty team pops up at markets + events, and you can even snag their beans at spots like .

📲 .life – slinging pops + helping you connect before & after the event. Join the group chat and meet new friends before you even roll out your mat!

🎉 .social – ATL’s pop-up social club bringing community-driven, intentionally small + diverse events.

💪 – fueling us with protein shake samples + an exclusive meal-plan discount for our yoga fam. ATL’s one-stop shop for healthy, time-saving eats.

♥️ is the post yoga chill spot on Sundays when it is not market season. Your ticket enters you in a chance to win a $25 PG gift card or T-Shirt!

👕 – my go-to in L5P for custom tees + the home of all Yoga.ATL merch!

🌞 Come flow, connect, and celebrate community with us this Sunday!
