Today we celebrated Brookmeade Activities Spirit Week by wearing hearts to show our dedication and love for what we do!
❤️ The day was made even sweeter as residents enjoyed heart-shaped sugar cookies while listening to the wonderful music of Michael Hite. 🎶
It was a joyful afternoon filled with smiles, music, and heartfelt moments—another beautiful reminder of the passion and care that goes into our Activities program every day. 💕

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Day 3 of Brookmeade Activities Spirit Week was Superhero Day!

We celebrated in true superhero style by rocking our favorite superhero t-shirts, enjoying a showing of the original Superman movie, and cooling off with cherry & raspberry ice pops!

To top it all off, we kicked off our Valentine’s Day crafts, adding a little love and creativity to an already super day ❤️

Today, The Meadows and The Terraces celebrated National Pie Day in the sweetest way! 🍰
At The Terraces, residents tapped their toes to country favorites performed by Chuck Jacobs, while enjoying delicious pie and great company. 🤠🎶
Over at The Meadows, we took a step back in time with classic oldies performed by Bill and Wayne, filling the room with music, smiles, and plenty of sweet treats. 🎵🕺

🌏✈️ Passport Program Adventure: China! ✈️🌏

The Meadows took an exciting virtual flight to China as part of our Passport Program! Residents explored their Chinese Zodiac signs, sipped on soothing green tea, and enjoyed delicious egg rolls. We also learned some common Chinese phrases before wrapping up the journey with a fun round of Chinese Bingo.
Brian gave the staff a Chinese scratch off ticket were they revealed a fortune and 4 lucky winners received a Dunkin Donuts gift card!
To end the evening we had the chance purchase a delicious takeout..
Chinese Burbon Chicken dinner as a Community of Brookmeade fundraiser all proceeds go back into resident programs!
It was a wonderful day of learning, laughter, and cultural discovery—another successful trip on the Brookmeade Airlines! 🇨🇳🐉🧧

✨ The Terraces baked up warm, savory cheddar cheese & chive cornbread, filling the halls with the best aroma.
🍒 The Meadows took the sweet route with rich cherry cheesecake that was enjoyed by all.
