We were honored to participate in the “Valentines for Veterans” event at the Village Cooperative of Wausau. The gathering brought together local veterans for an afternoon of appreciation, fellowship, and community connection. ❤️
It was truly a rewarding opportunity to give back to those who have given so much to our community! Special thank you to Dori (Regional Hospital Liaison) for representing us!

Don’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. After arriving with significant mobility and self-care challenges, he worked hard in therapy and made incredible progress. Today, Don is walking independently, completing daily activities on his own, and heading home stronger and more confident than ever.

We would like to recognize Karlie in our School to Career Pathway Spotlight! 💡

Karlie Yunkers is a senior at Rhinelander High School, working at Friendly Village through the Youth Apprenticeship program. She is completing the nursing assistant track. Karlie plans to attend college to become a Nurse and then a CRNA. Some of her current job duties include:
▪️Assisting residents to the dining room
▪️Make residents beds
▪️And restocking
