Marshfield Clinic region of Sanford Health and Security Health Plan are proud to announce a $150,000 funding initiative aimed at supporting innovative, community-driven projects that address food insecurity and promote healthier lives across Wisconsin and Michigan's upper peninsula.

The program invites tax-exempt and government agencies serving communities within the Marshfield Clinic's service area to apply for grants of up to $10,000. These funds are intended to support projects that help individuals and families access the food they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.

Latte Fun Memory Cafe is for people living with early to mid-stage memory loss and their care partners.

The Latte Fun Memory Cafe will be held all year until December 2025 at Cabin Coffee, 2462 S. Main Street, Rice Lake. It is held the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Drop-in and visit!

Congratulations to Dr. Philip Kramer, general surgeon, and Natalie Anderson, certified medical assistant, at Marshfield Medical Center-Rice Lake who were recently honored with a Shining Star for making a positive impact when caring for a patient.

The person that nominated them said this: “The most wonderful team! Going above and beyond. Natalie spent so much time reassuring me and speaking on the phone with me. Dr. Kramer is so thorough and cares about us patients. This made my visits so much more relaxing. Can’t recommend him enough.”
