🐴 From Storybook to Real Life! 📖

Today’s newest ReelTime Animal Rescue video is one of our patients reading a story about a donkey. This story comes alive by spending time with our therapy donkeys, Ruby and Roxy!

After reading, the patient practiced communication while interacting with the donkeys, even trying to encourage them to play with a yoga ball! Activities like this help connect literacy with real-world experiences, building confidence, language skills, and meaningful connections through the human–animal bond.

🦙Leo’s Last Therapy Session 💔

In this special session, our patient led Leo through an obstacle course. Activities like these build problem solving skills and trust. 🧠 💬

This was Leo’s last therapy session, since he sadly passed away due to old age. We want to give a huge thank you to Leo for helping our patients grow. 💗

As the days begin to warm up, our patients are enjoying peaceful walks around our beautiful ranch during their speech therapy sessions.🐴🐶

Incorporating nature and our therapy animals into sessions helps patients regulate, relax, and build communication skills in a natural environment. Sometimes the best conversations happen while walking side-by-side with a trusted animal friend.☀️🐾
