During this session, our patient rides through the arena while locating cards. Each card helped her work on building language and communication goals. The horse’s rhythmic movement provides organized sensory input that helps patients engage more fully and stay regulated during therapy.

❄️Winter Fun at Nature’s Edge ❄️

This week our patients made Reindeer Cookies while practicing speech sounds, listening skills, and following directions. Plus some patients got to go sledding and spend quality time with our therapy animals. 🦌🍪

Learning is always more meaningful when it’s fun, hands-on, and motivating!🛷

❄️ Snowy days don’t slow us down at Nature’s Edge! ❄️

Even with the cold and the snow, our patients still had a blast in their speech therapy sessions this week. From practicing speech sounds before sledding down the hill, to spending time with our therapy animals in our heated indoor arena, there was no shortage of fun or motivation.🐴💬
