Wee-Care Pediatric Home Health has an immediate openings for Therapy Validations Specialist
Job Summary:
The Therapy Validations Specialist is primarily responsible for validating daily routine therapy visits. The Therapy Validations Specialist reports directly to the Office Manager.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Education and Experience:
• Must be willing to work every other Sunday, 6 p.m. to midnight tentatively
• Minimum of two years’ healthcare experience required
• Must be a speech language pathologist (SLP) or speech language pathologist assistant (SLPA) candidate
• Proficiency in computer programs, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
• Demonstrate a high degree of skill in problem solving and working effectively with therapists
• Must be detail-orientated and flexible
• Awareness of HIPPA and other Home Health related regulations
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform duties preferred
