June is Men's Health month but since we missed it: How about Testosterone 101 for June/July Your hormones are one of the most important regulatory systems in the body. As we age, hormone production changes.

Testosterone is a hormone found in humans, as well as in other animals. The testicles primarily make testosterone in men. Women’s ovaries also make testosterone, though in much smaller amounts.

The production of testosterone starts to increase significantly during puberty, and begins to dip in women in their 20s and men in their 30s.

If a male has a low level of testosterone, the symptoms can include:

Low s*x drive
Difficulty with er****on
Low semen volume
Hair loss
Fatigue
Loss of muscle mass
Increased body fat
Decreased bone mass
Insomnia

If a female has a low level of testosterone, the symptoms can include:

Sluggishness
Muscle weakness
Fatigue
Sleep disturbances
Reduced s*x drive
Decreased s*xual satisfaction
Weight gain
Fertility issues

As a result, we often see a variety of chronic diseases that can be caused by unbalanced hormones.

• Metabolic Syndrome
• Thyroid Health
• Osteoporosis
• Alzheimer’s Disease
• Heart Disease
• Diabetes
• Parkinson’s Disease
• PTSD

BioTE’s Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy is a treatment option. Bio-identical testosterone pellet therapy has helped provide hundreds of thousands of men and women around the world a new lease on life.

Dealing with low testosterone can be very stressful. If you are dealing with any of the symptoms listed above bio-identical testosterone pellets can help restore your hormonal balance and extend your vitality.

Is Hormone Therapy Right for You?

BioTE bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) decreases the effects of imbalanced hormones in men and women.

Determine if BHRT is right for you by getting your testosterone levels checked. A simple blood test can determine testosterone levels. There’s a wide range of normal or healthy levels of testosterone circulating in the bloodstream.
