If you see this post I want you to put your phone down and go outside. Watch the sunrise, the sunset, the moon and the stars. Listen and feel for the wind, the birds and all of the little things happening around you. Touch a leaf, a petal, and run your fingers through grass. Make a fire or sit by a lake, a pool or if you’re really lucky, the ocean. Just put your phone down and leave it there. 💫🌱

To all my fellow trauma and abuse survivors, a reminder that indeed the truth does set you free. Wise men say at first the truth will make you miserable. This makes a strong case for seeking freedom and shortening up the time period of misery. Stand up, tell the story and tell the truth even when you’re afraid, especially when you’re afraid.
