Thank YOU to everyone who came to the Dallas OCD Walk hosted by this past weekend in support of those affected by OCD. Hearing your stories and coming together as a community will always hold a special place in our hearts at SOAR and we are proud to have been a part of it!

We also want to share a HUGE thank you to Gabbi and the rest of the volunteers for making this walk happen at the beautiful Finch Park in McKinney, TX! We quite literally could not have done this without all of you!

Flashback to the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), offered through the International OCD Foundation, in Minneapolis earlier this month. SOAR’s own, Dr. Molly Martinez, was honored to serve as faculty along with her esteemed colleagues, Rene Reinardy, David Jacoby, Caitlin Claggett Woods, Alec Pollard, and others

The BTTI is a 3-day intensive training attended by licensed therapists, many of whom are on a waitlist for multiple years to attend. SOAR is proud to play a role in educating professionals and expanding access to evidenced-based treatment of OCD.

At SOAR, we are passionate about using evidence-based treatment for OCD, including ERP or “Exposure and Response Prevention”. There are a lot of misconceptions out there about what ERP is and how it used by OCD specialists.
