The Muladhara Chakra is present at the base of the spine.
This is where our whole life is. We spend our life gratifying ourselves, acting, and running towards unnecessary gross desires that never get fulfilled. We do it repeatedly, thinking we may achieve this time.
Lalita Sahasranama
मूलाधाराम्बुजारूढा पञ्च-वक्त्राऽस्थि-संस्थिता ।
अङ्कुशादि-प्रहरणा वरदादि-निषेविता ॥ १०६ ॥
mūlādhārāmbujārūḍhā pañca-vaktrā’sthi-saṁsthitā |
aṅkuśādi-praharaṇā varadādi-niṣevitā || 106 ||

Located at the core of the root chakra is the energy with five faces called the Devi Sakini. She also resides within the skeletal system (bones). Devi Sakini carries a goad in one hand and a blessing gesture with her other hand. She has a fondness for dishes made with lentils, and her name is Sakini.

If you're new to Vedic meditation, start with five minutes twice daily. Gradually increase it to 10-20 minutes twice a day, and so on. Remember, any amount of time spent meditating is beneficial! Don't give up!
