Today marks the Lantern Festival, the final day of Lunar New Year 🌕

It’s a celebration of family and completeness, symbolized by the round lanterns and traditional rice balls shared during this time. Lanterns are lit to bring warmth, joy, and good fortune. Releasing lanterns into the sky or onto water symbolizes letting go of past burdens and welcoming a fresh start with hope and optimism.

We hope this year brings you happiness, good fortune, and peace 😊

On the last day of Lunar New year, people celebrate by releasing lanterns and eating sweet rice balls called Tangyuan(汤圆).
These are traditional Chinese glutinous rice balls, typically served in a sweet or savory broth, symbolizing family reunion and togetherness.
They are chewy and mochi-like in texture. They usually contain sweet fillings like black sesame, red bean, or peanut.

Enjoy some Tangyuan and Happy Lunar New Year 🌕✨
Wishing you sweetness, unity, and a beautiful year ahead!

Folded by hand and shaped like ancient gold ingots, Jiaozi have been part of Lunar New Year traditions for centuries. 🥟

Their crescent shape symbolizes wealth and prosperity, and they’re often eaten as the clock turns to midnight, marking the transition into a new year of abundance.

Soft, warm, and freshly steamed, Jiaozi bring more than nourishment. They bring comfort after winter, connection around the table, and the quiet joy of welcoming something new together. Happy New Year!

The Year of the Fire Horse is a powerful and dynamic time in the Chinese zodiac. In traditional Chinese astrology, each year is represented by one of the 12 animals and one of the five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water). Because the animals and elements rotate together, the same animal-element combination only returns once every 60 years.

The Fire Horse last appeared in 1966, and it won’t return again for another 60-year cycle. Fire brings intensity, passion, and transformation, while the Horse symbolizes independence, strength, and momentum. Together, the Fire Horse represents bold energy, courage, and rapid change.

It’s considered a year of movement, ambition, and powerful shifts. We welcome the new year with excitement and a whole lot of energy! Happy Chinese New Year! 🎆🏮🧧
