It’s almost time for NDSA’s 2025 Fall Impact Day!

Join us on Saturday, November 22nd from 10am–1pm at TWO locations for a day of sustainable service.

Meet us at the Willie B. Johnson Recreation Center (12225 Willowdell Dr, Dallas, TX 75243) to drop off your textiles, toys, electronics, paper for shredding, and more.

You can also drop off your TEXTILES only at Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church (680, US-80 Mesquite, Texas 75149). This location will not accept paper shredding or electronics.

Bring your items, spread the word, and help us create a cleaner, greener community—one donation at a time! 🌱✨

🧬🔭🎨📲💻🧪 Celebrating International STEAM Day with Our Future Innovators!

Today, NDSA proudly celebrated International STEAM Day with our youth programs — R.A.F.T., Delta Academy, and Delta GEMS! 🎉

The day was filled with creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning as our youth explored the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) discovering how these fields shape our everyday lives and the future. 💡

We were thrilled to welcome 67 participants who spent the day imagining, designing, building, creating and truly embodying the spirit of STEAM! 🙌🏾

Participants rotated through fun and educational stations and panels including:
🎨 Bookmark Art & Thanksgiving Crafts
🦷 A Dental Station with a medical professional
💻 Coding & Engineering Challenges
🤖 An AI Presentation introducing artificial intelligence
🧱 A LEGO Innovation Challenge
👒 Tie-Dye Hats for a colorful twist!
💡An insightful panel about careers in STEM

We extend our deepest gratitude to the amazing panelists, vendors, and volunteers who made this event a success. Your time, expertise, and enthusiasm helped inspire our youth to dream bigger and explore new possibilities in STEAM! ❤️
