Hello SimplyAware Community,
Winter is upon us and with that comes the unpredictable weather and road conditions. As in past, we have your wellness and safety in the forefront of our hearts and minds so we choose to manage our Training Center schedule with an abundance of caution.
As of today, we are closed Monday January 26 and Tuesday January 27. We will post on our website about any further closings this week. (Wednesday is up in the air right now)
We post notices in a bright yellow box as our primary way of letting you know our current status.
We are working on Kidney Energy and Water Element right now and this "SNICE STORM" (As I am coining this mess) which gives un an opportunity to train based on the season.
This is a time of quiescence, rest and recovery. Here are some ideas to make the most of this situation.
Practice Meditation - I recommend some of my work on Insight Timer or choose from a huge collection of teachers offerings on this the world leading meditation app.
Gentle Qigong - I recommend Golden Ball Qigong or simply do some focused breath work.
Read a Book - I recommend The Tao Of Pooh as a light, enjoyable read. Another wonderful book is Peace is Every Step by my spiritual teacher - Thich Nhat Hanh.
Complete a Puzzle - There are some WONDERFUL OPTIONS on Amazon. (Although delivery may be an issue today. ;-))
Stimulate your Creativity - Do some drawing, watercolor, paint, woodworking.
Play a Board Game - This is a family favorite for us. here are a few favorites.
