Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home

Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home Family Owned... Family Focused... Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home has been family-owned and operated for over three generations! James M.

Campbell founded the funeral home and his daughter and granddaughter carry on his legacy. Because the business is near and dear to the family, they work hard to present welcoming and impressive services. In addition, the funeral home built on the property is part of the history of Bucks County, Pennsylvania and connected to a magnificent fieldstone farmhouse dating back to 1740. Over the years families have chosen Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home for the emphasis on providing unparalleled service and sincere comfort by their staff. Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home can help you with pre-need funeral services. If you would like to make arrangements for a death occurring in the near or far future, you can record all of your wishes. Your family will be so grateful for your forethought and take comfort in knowing you had input in your end-of-life service. One consideration is to have an open-casket viewing before the funeral service then gathering for a graveside service afterward. Traditional funerals require the purchase of a casket and perhaps a graveside marker or memorial. Cremation services can be more economical in price, with the option to purchase an urn and plan a gathering event. Some feel that cremations with a memorial service are rare occurrences, but many families choose to schedule a service in addition to cremation. If you would not like a service, you could consider a direct cremation. Along with these formal options is an alternative to have a gathering to celebrate your loved one. A celebration of life is more casual, with a theme or a focus on the talents and hobbies of the deceased. No matter which program you choose, know that family and friends will find closure in any gathering where they can give their final goodbye. For those requiring veteran services or military honors, the staff at Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home can organize and help you obtain your entitled benefits. Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home serves Richboro, Southampton, Warminster, Holland, Newtown, Feasterville, Warwick, Warrington, Huntingdon Valley and surrounding area communities. Reach out to a staff member for grief resources that can help you through this difficult time. Our Story

We are very proud of the reputation we have built over 65 years. As you learn more about our family-owned and operated funeral home, we believe you will come to know with confidence that you have made the right choice in asking us to care for the one you love.

In the fall of 1978 while on the way to picnicking along the Delaware River near Washington Crossing a beautiful historic home came into view. The sale sign beckoned us to venture up the tree lined driveway and begin to walk around the property. On it stood a magnificent fieldstone farmhouse that radiated the history of Bucks County. We peeked in all the windows and instantly fell in love with the possibility of expanding our Lawndale funeral home location to the suburban area. We later learned that this captivating home was built circa 1740 and had been placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the Department of the Interior on June 5, 1975. On December 21, 1978, after settlement, our family immediately drove to Richboro to hang a Christmas wreath on the main front door of our beautiful new home. It was a holiday filled with excitement as we contemplated our future and all that life had in store for our family. Over the following year we met with architects and contractors to design a complimentary addition which would become our funeral home. We anxiously awaited serving our first family and by August of 1982 the construction was complete and our journey began.
