Last week, an incredible group of volunteers came together to spread holiday cheer throughout our city. Richfield police officers, HCSO deputies, city employees, and employees from Richfield businesses all teamed up to help shop, wrap, and deliver presents for eleven local families. What started as a big task quickly turned into a fun and meaningful experience for everyone involved. Laughter, teamwork, and a shared commitment to giving back made the event truly special.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and heart to make our Heroes and Helpers event possible. You helped bring smiles to families across the city—and had some fun along the way! 💙🎄

The best thing about Morris Nilsen Chapel is that we are a family of friends. Most weeks we spend more hours together than we do with our own families. Everyday we try to lighten some of the hardest moments. We try to ease the burden for the families we serve. We wouldn’t change helping others for anything.

Sometimes we take a moment to do something outside of our “normal”. Today, our little team escaped the Cursed Carnival. It reiterated how well we work together. We love each other and all of the families we serve!
