I know we are a little bit early, but we all know that moms shop for Father's Day at the same time that dads shop Mother's Day. 😆

About Us

Oaklee Mae is a small, Utah based personalized jewelry business run by a husband and wife duo and two tiny humans who contribute mostly with sticky fingerprints and love. We specialize in creating personalized, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces and keepsakes to represent all of life's celebrations. HOW IT ALL STARTED

In 2010 I became pregnant for the first time. Just a few short months later, an ultrasound revealed that the baby's heart had stopped beating and I experienced my first miscarriage. Through our grieving we continued to try for another baby and about a year later, my first daughter, Saige Oaklee was born. She had a way of healing broken hearts and we are so thankful for that little (now big) blessing.

In the months following Saige's birth, I longed for a piece of personalized jewelry to represent that tiny flicker of life that was my first baby. After searching through many jewelry pieces on Etsy and not finding quite what I was looking for, I decided to order the supplies to make my own. That small stamped token to memorialize the sweet baby we had lost became something bigger than we ever could have imagined.

One jewelry piece multiplied into pieces for family, then friends, and eventually branching out into the big scary world of jewelry design and starting my own Etsy shop. I have always loved drawing and creating beautiful things and jewelry design contained all of my favorite artistic elements. I started with zero knowledge in jewelry making and dove head first into a vast world of information.

After a few years of hard work, dedication, and 60 hour work weeks, our second daughter, Swayzee Mae was born full of fire. Life was wild and overwhelming and we made the decision for me to quit my nursing job to stay home with our littles and run our growing business from home. Six months later, my husband quit his job to help me manage our business full time.

At the end of 2015 I became pregnant with the baby that was supposed to complete our family. Three months later, that pregnancy too ended in miscarriage and broken hearts. With mother and grandmother jewelry, you will find that miscarriage and memorial jewelry makes up a large part of Oaklee Mae. As a mother who has experienced the loss of two pregnancies, I know how important it is to the grieving process to hold something tangible to represent every life that has lived, no matter how small.

Every single piece that is designed at Oaklee Mae is one-of-a-kind. Handcrafted from start to finish in our studio, each piece is engraved, assembled, and finished by us in the United States. Our business grows through you and I would like to sincerely thank every one of our supporters over the years.
