🏛️Ignite’s representative, Tim, is at the Capitol today! He is testifying on Assembly Bills 503 & 606. Bills that could hand the entire industry that we built over to the large alcohol distributors.

"We as an industry are 100% for common sense regulations and I agree with many of the points of this proposed bill. However, I also have major concerns on many of the issues that I have laid out. This bill is complex, over burdensome, far too vague and left up to interpretation, in many areas. It will hurt small businesses, stifle innovation, add undue costs to small businesses, hurt farmers, and it takes away the freedom of choice for adults to choose alternative products."

A 3-tier system regulated exactly like alcohol kills innovation, creativity, and the ability to control your own supply chain, seed-to-sale….this bill does NOT create a level playing field…it promotes exclusivity, bars and liquor stores to be grandfathered into the licensing process and will force small businesses like ours to close up shop due to the licenses and fees and taxes!

This is nothing but a hostile takeover of a homegrown community that people like us have dedicated their lives to…We’re not about to allow people who see this as a revenue replacement due to struggling sales and people drinking at an all time low…trying to steal an entire industry is not adapting to the changing times, it’s a lazy attempt to turn plant medicine into their cash cow!
