We're so excited to be meeting with everyone this Thursday at the Nazarene Outreach Center as we continue to discuss the importance of real honesty with ourself, good and others. It has taken me a long time to not stuff my feelings and come out from behind my masks but it's certainly a freer more enjoyable life being able to truly be myself.
Well be having snacks and how you can come early so we can visit.

Looks like snow won't be starting til after 9 so we will be meeting tonight and having snacks. If the weather decides to come in much earlier we'll post and put on wrco weather closures. Feel free to call before 4 or after 445 if not sure. We're in a dead zone driving up and frequently the texts and messages don't show up immediately if you call or text during that time. We're looking forward to seeing all of you this Thursday at 530 for snacks, meetings from 6 to 8.

This week we look at how important being truly honest is. According to 1 John 1:7 Healthy relationships require honesty and forgiveness and a healthy relationship with God is only found when we honestly confess our sins to God and accept His forgiveness.

We'll be talking on the importance of honesty over the next 2 weeks. We're only as sick as our secrets is so true. I was raised to be dishonest about my feelings and my actions so this was all very new for me when I started CR even though I had been a Christian for many years.
No kids program

CR FOREVER FAMILY! stay safe and warm as you can as we finish out January.

This week we'll have a wonderful warm chili meal. Tom and I will bring shredded cheese and oyster crackers. So sour cream, dessert or anything else that sounds good would be wonderful!

We'll be listening to a helpful testimony from Jeremy that goes into great detail on how all of his past trauma, pride, etc kept him in addiction for so many decades and made both sobriety and recovery so hard, BUT GOD! I love those 2 words, but God has been faithful to turn all of his weaknesses into strengths by the power of God after he truly surrendered His life and will to the care of God.

If you need a ride please call no later than 4pm on Thursday so we can coordinate rides.
