Clients come have BodPod tests for many reasons! Here are some of the outcomes from sessions I had with clients today...

Someone was encouraged that they are on the right track with their training and nutrition because they saw fat loss in just 4 weeks.

Someone celebrated significant body recomposition over 2 years despite obstacles such as abdominal surgery and life changes with careers and kids.

Some came to get their baseline numbers and set some goals for the holiday season (the "statistic" holiday weight gain of 5 or more pounds being the normal amount is usually overestimated, btw.)

Someone came and learned how to adjust their fitness and nutrition plan using the data provided from their BodPod test. I showed them how to make some calculations and how to find balance during the holiday season by working with their body instead of against it.

3 Reasons to love the BodPod

Let me introduce myself:

My name is Kelly and I am a state-licensed nutritionist with advanced degrees in both Exercise Science and Holistic Nutrition.

What does that mean for you?

It means that I am clinically trained in nutrition. That's right, I am qualified to not only consult with your healthcare team, but to help you improve any clinical conditions you may be experiencing. I am a specialist much like your cardiologist, endocrinologist or gastroenterologist.

I have been working in the fitness, nutrition and healthcare industries for over 20 years and have helped numerous people learn to nourish their bodies and say "no" to diet culture (even before that was a popular thing).

Holistic nutrition means I take a whole-body approach to your wellness. It's not just what you put in your body that can affect your health, but also your lifestyle, exposure to environmental stressors and your mental health!

State-licensed means that I have met the educational criteria plus required clinical hours to obtain licensure in the state of Washington.

I am not a "nutrition coach" with a weekend certification, throwing out all of the buzz words (gut health, metabolic priming, hormone balance, etc). Ask me about any one of these and I'll be able to have a conversation with you about them.

My passion is to help you succeed and realize your own potential. Don't let diet culture or the thought of where you "should be" or where you "used to be" hold you back. It's never too late to optimize your health!

This client was able to recompose by losing 1.9 pounds of fat and gaining 2.4 pounds of muscle in just 2 weeks!

As you can see, her total weight is up but it is due to her gaining more muscle than the amount of fat lost--a win overall in as little as 2 weeks.

While working together, we have worked on consistently eating throughout the day without tracking macros or calories in addition to a realistic workout schedule of 4 days a week. Only one of these days is she lifting weights. On the other 3 she chooses to run or play tennis.
